Official Remix of LE MILLIPEDE’s “Johann Palisa”, taken from his wonderful debut solo album.

Get the original at lemillipede.bandcamp.com and try to catch this multi-instrumentalist trombone player at one of his great live shows, supported by a fantastic band around The Notwist’s Acher brothers!

When we met after their show aboard the MS Stubnitz in Hamburg, we all had a long night together, quite some beer... and the plan to do a remix! Soon after I received a package containing more than 100 single audio tracks full of incredible percussion sounds, lo-fi keyboard layers, some vocals and of course these lovely trombone parts I had fallen in love with.

To bring it into a more danceable shape, I had to painfully decide what original sounds to use, created a couple of loops, switched on the drum machine, asked my analogue synths for a dubby bassline and a tune, and then mixed it all together with some analogue reverb and delay.
